The Sanctuary Choir is a vital part of the Worship experience here at Calvary. This ministry is very important to the well-being of our church, to the promotion of the Gospel, and in outreach events to win others to Christ. It is truly a worship leading choir that attempts to stir the hearts of all people – to reach them at their special place, and to help draw them into a closer walk with Him.
The choir is open to all people college age and older. It rehearses each Wednesday at 7:00 pm in the choir suite located on the second floor of the B-building. Childcare is provided for infants through 6th grade. You are asked to attend two rehearsals prior to singing on a Sunday morning for the first time.
Choir members are asked to sing in two of three services of their choosing on Sunday mornings. The Sanctuary Choir also participates in various musical events throughout the year which include Easter, Patriotic, and Christmas Celebration as well as other special musical events.
